How to infer the age of a cat from the teeth?
The age of a cat is mainly judged based on the growth of the dog’s teeth, the degree of wear, appearance and color of the peaks and teeth. In order to make it easier for everyone to grasp, the cat tooth age is now introduced as follows:
A total of 30 adult cat teeth
A total of 26 kitten teeth
Start to grow teeth in about 14 days
2-3 weeks old, with full deciduous incisors. At almost two months old, all deciduous teeth are long, white, thin, and pointed.
3-4 months old Replace the first primary incisor
5-6 months old Replace the second and third primary incisors and primary teeth
After 6 months, all permanent teeth will be replaced

The 1-year-old mandibular second incisor has a large peak, which is worn to the level of a small peak. This phenomenon is called peak occlusion
2 years old mandibular second incisor tip completely disappeared
At the age of 3, the peak of the maxillary first incisor disappeared
4 years old, the peak of the maxillary second incisor disappeared
5 years old The tip of the mandibular third incisor is slightly worn, and the worn surfaces of the mandibular first and second incisors are distance-like
At 5.5 years old, the third cusp of the mandible is worn out and the canine teeth become blunt
At the age of 6.5, the mandibular first teeth are worn down to the root, and the worn surface is longitudinally elliptical
